 Become an NRA Certified Instructor today! L&T Firearms Training Safety and Certification is now offering Instructor Candidate courses in Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home. As a certified instructor you will gain the satisfaction of teaching others the basic knowledge, skills and attitude that will lead them to a lifetime of safe and fun shooting sports. You will gain satisfaction in knowing that you have impacted hundreds of thousands of people on a personal level and that some day they will effect others. Being a certified instructor is a excellent way to be an effective leader in your community. Our 5 day instructor candidate course will teach you the skills and knowledge to teach other how to become safe and responsible gun owners and shooters. 

Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate their background of firearms and firearms safety. Candidates will have to demonstrate prior firearms skills.  Candidates will have to be familiar with different action types and demonstrate proficiently with each.  Candidates will have to successfully pass an appropriate   NRA Certified Instructors Examination with a passing score of 90% or higher,  85% or higher for an assistant, and 85% or higher for apprentice.   

Pre-Registration is required and easy.

1. Fill out the Pre-Course Questionnaire  and email it back to us prior to attending the workshop.

2. Complete and successfully complete a three-part test demonstrating you knowledge of firearms safety and operation.

3. Submit either a deposit to hold your seat; or pay in full.  

Steps for Basic Pistol Training:

Submit payment by using the appropriate dropdown. We will email you a course code that will allow you to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion print your certificate and contact our office to schedule an appointment  to complete the class room portion.

3 INCH RING BINDER. NOTEBOOK AND HIGHLIGHTER. 200 ROUNDS ( 9MM Preferred).
